here’s our party, the Broot Skwad (minus one bastard tiefling because he wasn’t part when i started the picture). i saw the reference picture and knew it had to be them.

so this is Car the druid (center), Zev the cleric (back left), Fil the rogue (back right), and Tempe the fighter (front).

a few years ago, i did a Persephone, and started the sketch for this Apollo. i finally finished it this year.

i had to make the difficult choice on 5/24 to have my cat put down. she was severely dehydrated and her kidneys had failed. with hospitalization and iv fluids, her chance of survival was 50%. rather than keep her suffering so i could spend more time with her, i made the decision to let her pass peacefully and pain-free.

this is the box we buried her in. it was lined with her blanket. on the top, i painted lila getting an everlasting headkiss (her favourite display of affection). on the front, i painted her arriving in the Summerlands, with her brothers and sisters waiting to greet her (from l to r: Natasha, Kitty, Sterling, Tigre, Sphinx, Jenneth, Kaneda, Stormy, and Tetsuo). the side with her climbing into bed with me (her favourite place to sleep) was painted by @cuteinsanity. the side with the giant catnip was painted by @nephirnuit. the side with the rainbow was painted by me, and @ashareem wrote lyrics from Heavyside Layer and Jellicle Cats, and a personal goodbye in Gaelic.

somehow missed uploading Crème last week when i finished her, so doubling up for today.

here’s @cuteinsanity‘s Crème Delacroix. she uses raw Dust and makes her own blends with neat effects.

and my Elora Stone, who i don’t draw often enough. her story has been in flux for a bit, but it’s finally calming down and i can focus on finalizing her designs. she’s a goat faunus, and her trait gives her incredible peripheral vision.

week 8/composition 4.

i need to get better at drawing trees. like, aside from really basic cartoony trees, they’re pretty much a mystery.

i guess it’s time to go worship at the altar of Bob Ross again.
